Alocasia baginda 'Silver Dragon'
Leaves of this alocasia are a bold shimmery silver - the texture almost looks fake. 'Silver Dragon' is a compact growing type typically reaching 1ft x 1ft in size. The thick leaves gives this type for resiliency than other alocasias.
Sprig size is grown and shipped in a 2" pot.
Growing Conditions:
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: Water once the top one inch of soil is dry. Does not like to dry out completely.
Fertilizer: Should to be regularly fertilized in the spring and summer months.
Soil: Needs very well draining soil and a slightly acidic soil pH. We recommend: Alocasia Soil
Pests: Spider mites are very common especially in the late summer, or warm dry months. Mealybugs and root rot are also common issues with this plant.
