Fouquieria columnaris (Idria columnaris)
A highly unique tree, dominated by a large succulent stem. The stem is widest at the base and tapers towards the top of the tree where it may split into several smaller branches. The appearance has been compared to that of an upside carrot. Leaves are tiny and elliptical. In young specimens the leaves can be observed on zigzaging red stems.
Enjoys part to full sun outdoors. Ships bare root and ready to plant in a 6-8 inch pot.
